Great product easy to install in use . We are using the ISCSI target and the direction were great. I am getting over 100 MB/sec read and write with Jumbo frames. I could not be more happy with this product. 4 WD 7200RPM 500 GB drives are being used.

Quiet and fast enough . Had a Thecus 5200 Pro. Sounded like a jet engine and had two drives go bad in 2.5 years. I think they were too hot. The Qnap is whisper quiet and seems to be more responsive than the Thecus. Only time will tell about reliability

wow . I bought it as my home office file server. Attached 4 750 gig hdd's, Raid 5 'em and the speed is ridiculous !
Combined with a Gig-E router will work like a charm !
Great packages and applications available... plenty of support and forums.
