Stay away! - UPDATED!! - NO STARS . I've always stuck to the major brands on USB sticks and never strayed away from them when it comes to memory. A co-worker of mine actually had this exact one and he was pleased with it's performance. Therefore, I went for it and purchased this one off of Amazon.
The price was right so I'd give it 3.5 stars but I can't do that so I'll leave it at 3. The performance on this stick is pretty slow. I've tried to reformat it and a few other things with no success of improving write speed. When testing it against my 2GB PNY memory stick I found the PNY got 125mb/minute via a robocopy command while this 4GB EP memory stick only wrote at 102MB/minute. Not a huge deal to most and some won't even notice the difference but if you're writing some big files, which I do alot, it will take up some time over the course of the day.
I'm doing a ~1GB file copy right now so I'll let you know the results...
819.MB took 42 minutes to write to the USB stick.
342.82MB took 43 seconds to read from stick and write to an IDE drive.
Pretty slow writes but good read. Get what you pay for I guess, it only cost me $[...] a couple weeks ago from this site, [...].

First the drive was slow and now it get's writes failures all the time. I have reformatted and used MANY tools to reformat so the drive is more stable. I went to the manufacturer who sent me the USB stick and wrote them an email, because a phone number is not located on their website. It's just a help desk webpage where you log your technical issues and your customer service issues. To make this short, lots of run-around wiht email saying there is nothing they can do for me. First they said 30 days to return it and then they came back with 12 days so it was too late for me to send it back. I thought the USB drive was slow but NO, it's faulty and there is nothing I can do about it. I've been purchasing items on the internet for about 7 years now and have never received such poor customer service in my life. Things have been damaged from tools to rugs to many different items. Most have wanted to make the customer happy and help out. Unfortunately, NOT these guys. I will find the company name who sold this to me...once second:

bottom line, I received a faulty item and they won't help me even REPLACE it for another. That's low down, if you ask me.

it really is mac compatible . I just got this a week ago, and it's been great. Using this drive on my macbok, it tells me how much space is left. Also, the eject arrow shows up so it's simple to disconnect. My geek squad drive doesn't do that. The size is great too. I used it to transfer a dozen large tiffs, and had room to spare.

ACP-EP Memory 4 GB USB 2.0 Mini Flash Drive . Product has worked well for me. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was that I prefer the LED to be off when the drive isn't being accessed versus the always on as it is.

Too slow for dail use . Had an issue with the first one that I received. I could not format it any way so I could not add data to it. Returned without hassle so I would rate the customer service higher than the product. The drive is VERY slow writing data to it, slower than than my USB 1.1 drive and this goes for deleting. It took me almost an hour to delete my original 2gb of data that I wrote to it. Once data is on the drive reading seems to be acceptable but I would not use it for a any application use; i.e. bootable utilities or OS's like any Linux distro.
Overall, if you have a large amount of data and will only be writing small amounts of data, after your original data dump, then having 4gb in a portable format could be worth it. If speed is your need, look elsewhere since as they say "you get what you pay for"..

Inexpensive but slow . A bargain for what I use it for --- namely to carry around important info in a small package. However, I was dissapointed in the speed --- it takes a long time to write to it.
The little manual that comes with it has multiple errors in it --- looks like someone was not terribly familiar with English.

Went through the wash a few times and still works - AMAZING! . I have had one of these for a few years now. It's the most reliable memory stick out there. I have accidentally left it in my jeans a couple times and seen it go through the washer and dryer. Somehow it still comes out ticking!! I don't get it but it's true!
good buy Great product !!! . I have owned this product for several months . It has already paid for itself. I just did a simple test on my well worn unit . I transfered 754 mb of video and data in 55 sec.to my harddrive. Now mind you i was plugged into a 1.1 usb port. Its not the fastest but it works well for me. STEVE
The Hi-Speed Flash drive is not so speedy afterall . The Hi-Speed USB 2.0 Mini Flash Drive is pretty slow. It takes forever to write something to memory. It is also slow when you play things from it. Transfers often time one because it takes so long to write the files into the flash drive's memory. You get what you pay for. It is cheap, not that reliable, not good in a hurry, but ok if you just want to store non-vital things there. I use it to unload my TiVo TCD649080 Series2 80-Hour Dual-Tuner Digital Video Recorder whenever it gets too full. It holds 2 movies and a couple of shows at the lowest quality setting. It is an ok value, just don't put anythign of vital importance in it.
Great buy! . I haven't had any trouble with this item. The downloads are fast and it is one of the best buys I have ever made!
Cons Review
This purchase was a rip-off! . I had very unpleasant experience with the seller, ANTOnline. The item (ACP-EP Memory 4 GB USB 2.0 Mini Flash Drive) I purchased from them was shoddy and totally unusable. It's usually not a seller's fault by accidentally selling a defective product. It's their fault not to take responsibility. When I described the situation to them and tried to make them aware, they refused to take the item back and refund my money by claiming that the packege had been opened and can not be sold to a third party. (As a matter of fact, the package was already open when I received it, unlike a sealed plastic packege you can see from other electronic sellers) The seller's attitude was a completely irresponsible and unethical. As I indicated that I had already mailed back the item and urged them to give my money back, they agreed to refund 74% of the purchase price ($[...]) rather than full refund that I requested. I think the seller's response has infringed Amazon's return policy, showed no respect to customers' rights and seriously damaged the reputation of Amazon.com. I was deeply disappointed by seller's handling this matter. I would encourage Amazon mangement to take disciplinary actions against the seller. I would recommend other customers NOT to purchase products from this seller.
