Fast affordable reliable . This is going to be simple.
I bought this knowing Mushkin is a legitimate company that stands behind its products. It's been used with Pioneer CDJ-400s, for DJing, with MP3s.
What Windows 7 tells me (I have 2 of them):
Read: 15 MB/s, 17 MB/s
Write: 6.5 MB/s, 5 MB/s
(They have the same data on them; both are about half full of MP3s)
MAJOR PLUS: They survived the washer. I did not expect them to survive at all since they don't appear waterproof; but they work great!!
It's great. Buy it.

Awesome flashdisk for the price . I got this for only a few bucks with free 2 day shipping through Amazon Prime. I got it for my dad, he needed something to toss files on because he lost one I'd already given him (haha). Once I got it, popped in the computer, and it was storing files in a flash. No issues or anything. Had a nice "feel" to it also, I think it was how the shell was angled, it just felt good in the hand.Enjoy!

Mushkin 4 GB flash drive . I bought two of this 4 GB and a 16GB Mushkin flash drive and they all are transfer very fast. Faster than Lacie and Talent that I have. I have owned a few flash drives in the past few years but two stopped working and lost another 2. This are by far the fastest one at reasonable price. I would recommend and buy this again.

Great! but go for the 8 GB model . This was my first Mushkin memory device. I've seen their RAM before, but I've never used it.
I will recommend going with the 8 GB model, as 4 GB is rather small for today, and the 8 GB model is only a few bucks more.
I love this thing. I run Ubuntu 10.10 Live off of it, and I almost don't notice it's running off of a flash drive. The only time I notice it is when I'm moving files while running Ubuntu off of it. (basically when I'm trying to have my cake and eat it too).

When I say speeds, I mean both consecutive and broken-up or multi-segment reads AND writes. Some flash drives are good at either consecutive or multi-segment, or reading or writing, but not all of them. This one is good at all of them. Mushkin has earned my patronage.
The cap is useless. I took one look at it and decided I wasn't going to keep up with it. I've never kept up with caps, and my previous flash drives still function, so I don't consider them useful to me.
