USB 3.0 for a Great Price . If I had to sum up the Transcend 8GB USB 3.0 flash drive it would be this. "Boy, is it Fast!". I'm upgrading from my 4GB Transcend 2.0 JetFlash V30 flash drive that would write at an average of 5 MB/s and read at 15 MB/s. Not too bad for a three year old flash drive. Upgrading to the new USB 3.0 is a breath of fresh air. Files write 3 times faster, an average of 15MB/s using my USB 3.0 port! The flash drive is even fast on USB 2.0, I got an average of 12 MB/s. It's also extremely portable and is probably just as durable as my older Transcend, which took quite a beating and is still kicking. Transcend has made a great product at a great price. I highly recomend this product.
