Works with 3TB Drives but read on . I could not use a Hitachi 3TB drive with this unit, showed up as 800GB. 2TB works fine. 3TB worked with the MacAlly external unit on firewire. This is on a 2008 Mac Pro. Amazon and Product site says max 3TB. User manual says max 2TB. It appears that there are some units out there with old firmware that only work up to 2TB.10/19/2001: Contacted Vantec, and they said they will send updated unit. If you use these with 3TB drives and are willing to go thru the hassle, this is the best 1394b Dock that I could find. That , and the fact that Vantec came thru is why the 5 stars.Update 10/21/2011:Replacement units arrived from Vantec(yes , I bought a second one) and they work like a charm with 3TB drives. Great product. Amazon says more units on order, so by the time you buy this unit, the problem is probably solved.

Disasters? -- Meh... . Watch the full video review on YouTube!

The first thing you notice about the SoloPRO is that it's big and heavy. The SoloPRO encases a 1, 1.5 or 2TB SATA drive inside of 15lbs of ceramic and steel that is 5" wide, 7.1" high and 11" long. That enclosure gives you storage that is crush resistant, able to survive temperatures of up to 1550 degrees for 30 minutes, and waterproof for 72 hours at 10 feet under.

ioSafe sent us the eSATA version of the SoloPRO which starts with a relatively Spartan exterior. Aside from some blue LEDs and strategically placed vents in the steel case, the unit is all business. The back of the SoloPRO has a small cooling fan above a single panel that houses the 12 volt power plug, a USB 2.0 connector, the power switch and an eSATA port.

Using the unit is as simple as plugging in power and connecting it to your computer via eSATA or USB. Our tests showed that the USB port topped out at 27.59MB/s while eSATA was able to hit 63.12 MB/s, more than twice the performance of the previous Solo. These numbers say two things: First, you're definitely going to want to use eSATA or USB 3.0 as your link. Second, the SoloPRO is now fast enough to use as a primary work drive.

Performance is nice, but the SoloPRO is first and foremost built to be a disaster proof. In this respect, the SoloPRO uses the same technologies pioneered by the Solo, starting with the outer shell. The two interlocking pieces resist crushing, puncture, slashing and shearing damage to the internal components.

Inside the shell you'll find ioSafe's proprietary DataCast endothermic protection: a porous ceramic that traps water within an emulsion that ablates during high temperature events. Physics 101 tells us that as long as there is still water in the ceramic, the hard drive within stays below 200 degrees and will remain a hard drive, instead of a charred lump of molten metal and glass.

Carved into the DataCast are flow channels that allow air to circulate through the unit during normal operation, keeping the drive and supporting electronics cool. In a fire these flow channels are kept clear of smoke and fire by the steam venting from the ablating ceramic. It's an ingenious system that has no moving parts that fail or get stuck.

The last line of protection is the HydroSafe vapor barrier. ioSafe vacuum seals the hard drive in an airtight/watertight bag that allows it to survive moisture, high-pressure steam, smoke and immersion while also allowing the drive to be cooled by air coming through the flow channels.

All of these technological innovations have allowed ioSafe to create a product that survives the unthinkable. They've dunked it in a pool, cooked it in a burn box, blasted it with a fire hose, dropped it from 20 feet and run over it with a tractor. However, the real testament to the design is that it has defeated disasters in the wild. Solos have survived car fires, data center floods and the like. In each case, the drive was pulled from the enclosure, plugged into a dock, data transferred, and disaster averted because the Solo lived up to its promise.

ioSafe backs up their confidence in the SoloPRO with a $2500 guarantee per SoloPRO. If for any reason your drive cannot be read (including disaster, accidental deletion or drive failure) ioSafe recover your data, or else pay up to $2500 to a 3rd party professional data recovery service to do so. In other words, ioSafe will get your data back regardless of whether you've lost it to disaster, user error or mechanical gremlins. When you buy an ioSafe SoloPRO, you're not just buying a storage device, you're buying peace of mind.
ioSafe SoloPRO 2 TB USB 2.0/eSATA Fireproof and Waterproof External Hard Drive with 1 Year Data Recovery Service SH2000GB1YR (Black) Reviews
Best Thing Since Sliced Bread!!!! . All I can say is WOW!!! I can't say enough about what an awesome product this is. I received my ioSafe SoloPro in the mail, and even the packaging is awesome. It is packed in foam, with all the cabled you need, with clear instructions on setting it up.I bought the 1TB eSata/USB3.0 to go on my Windows Server, and it works great! I've read some people say the fan is loud, and that is simply not the case. The lights on the front are pretty cool, and the case is nice and heavy, and gives you peace of mind. Speaking of peace of mind, it is fire and waterproof!!! I mean C'MON MAN!!! They should be charging WAY more for this than they are.I've ran scheduled backups to it for over a week now, and everything is working just as it should. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive, quality external drive that will hold up for years and years.
ioSafe SoloPRO 2 TB USB 2.0/eSATA Fireproof and Waterproof External Hard Drive with 1 Year Data Recovery Service SH2000GB1YR (Black) Opinions
Professional Grade Back-Up in an Armored Car Body . ioSafe's SoloPro is bullet proof...well, almost (It is water and fireproof.) Our business depends on our constant backups and this device was the only solution to give me peace of mind when it came to the decision to purchase our corporate back-up drive. The security blanket ioSafe offers with their data recovery services is the icing on the cake. For around $200 on the 1TB device, the only question is wnhy wouldn't you implement this into your IT mix?
You should consider this: . This product does not offer internal data redundancy (via a RAID 1 array, or similar).
That means that the security of your files hinges on the mechanical dependability of a single HDD.

Consider:
How many times has your house burned down?

How many times has your house flooded to the point that your computer was submerged?

How many hard drives have faulted out on you?

...Yeah.

Take this into consideration when pursuing data security.

SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro Skin

Price : Too low to display
BUY NOW
Cruzer Micro Skin is an incredibly small USB Flash Drive (UFD) that connects to a computer's USB port. Users can easily store their key documents, pictures, music, and video clips on the Cruzer Micro Skin and transfer them to another computer with a USB port.

This review is from : SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro Skin
Excellent size and fast transfer speeds. . It's the perfect size for my MacBook Pro or any computer that has USB ports that are right next to each other. Some drives have bulky housing that prevent you from using the neighboring port. You can also slide the "skin" off to make it even slimmer. I lost the cap months ago but the product still works fine. I also own the SanDisk Cruzer Micro (the one with a black body and white slide tab that pushes the connector in and out). The transfer speed is noticeably faster on this "skin" version.

I also like that it's metal and not plastic. It's small though. Keep the lanyard on. I actually like that it's short. I once had an older generation SanDisk drive (the one that was grey plastic, non-retractable, and came with different colored caps). It was plugged into a computer on the floor at work when someone walked by and bent it. So with this metal shorter version, it's stronger and won't stick out as much.

You'll probably lose the cap but you don't really need it. Now that I've lost mine, I don't have to worry about looking for it all the time. A little more expensive, but worth it!
SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro Skin Reviews
Not bad for the price but very slow. . This is a very slow drive. I use it for transferring small files at work so it doesn't bother me. The size is great, but the light on the end of it blinks constantly which is annoying. I have a 5 year old 256mb one that still works. hope this one is as reliable.
SanDisk 4GB Cruzer Micro Skin Opinions
Reliable and durable but REMOVE the skin . I've had a 1Gb version of these for several years. It has put up with so much use and abuse I can't understand how it's sill working. It's been through the wash, dropped in the snow, dropped on concrete, crushed, and more, and it's still alive! After about the first month, I decided to forget about the skins... pulled the skin off the body, never put the cap back on again, and just kept it on my keychain like that. The skins and cap are a waste since they just slide off anyhow eventually, and it doesn't seem to need them anyhow for protection.

I ended up getting the 4Gb version of this after having problems with some other competing drives staying in USB ports, and seeing that other products that actually have a full SUB connector and can fit snugly in USB ports are much bigger than this.

The thing I liked about the 1Gb version vs. the 4Gb is it had a solid LED light and doesn't blink. Blinking might look cool at first, but gets extremely distracting if you're trying to watch a movie on your laptop, or use it in a car stereo that takes USB flash drives in the front for playing MP3s like mine. After getting the 4Gb version, I ended up peeling up the label, bending the keyring locking tabs open, and breaking the LED off of the board! Now I'm happy!

Also, I've never had a problem with it coming off my key ring as another reviewer posted. Just make sure the metal tabs that hold the keyring loop on are tight.

Very hardy little thumb drive... . This jump drive is great for it's physical size and construction. It's small enough where you can easily fit it into a cramped USB area (whether it be poorly-designed front ports, or overcrowded rear ports), and it's metal construction is very resilient (even without the "skins").

One complaint worth noting is that the main skin (not the cap, which is the same material as the rest of the skin) will slide up as you try to plug this drive into a tight USB port - forcing you to grip it harder, or reposition your thumb to the back/bottom of the drive. This was easily remedied (for me) by discarding the skin and cap altogether, and just leaving the drive on my keychain "naked". The metallic construction of the drive kept it very well protected (I'm pretty rough with my keys), and I never had any issues with getting dirt in the connections. I also never had any issues with the plastic keyring loop -- it held together just fine for me.

I would certainly recommend this product.
Good but not that good . I got this at walmart as a christmas special for 9 dollars. If was good for the price, but i would not pay more than that for it. First of all, i lost the cap for it within a month, because it does not attach to the back when it is in the computer. secondly, i have seen generic flashdrives at walgreens that look identical to this, I have a good feeling that this is a generic flashdrive with the sandisk name on it. But in the end memory is memory, and it does it purpouse. If you are looking to carry this around with you, select a different one. Mine says in my computer all of the time so i don't mind. ALso it lights up orange, which is kind of cool.
AWESOME...but 3.72 GB? . I've had the Sandisk Cruzer Micro 128 MB for years, works great. I bought this 4GB to just use for my XBOX 360 for music. IT'S AWESOME. I really like the green LED on the stick too, the 128MB was a blue LED. The 128MB does have a better piece for attaching straps or keychains, the 4GB is just a little piece of plastic that will break.
It does it's job well. Popped it in my laptop, it got the drivers from the internet within seconds, I didn't have to tell it anything. I did format the stick before use. The only thing I don't like is that I go to Properties of the USB stick and it says 3.72GB available before I've even put anything on... i can understand 3.98 or 3.95, but why is only 3.72GB available for me to use?

Oh well, still awesome for me.

Cons Review
good while it lasted . I really liked the rubbery case and the fact that you could push back the rubber case and write your name on it. unfortunately, it only lasted less than a month of heavy use. I popped it in and out of probably 250 computers (I was careful about ejecting it first before pulling it out). One time I popped it in and the little light didn't come on, no computer could read it anymore. I guess I was just unfortunate.
Fatal Flaw: Bad Keyring . This is a nice, small Flash drive with decent specs but it has a Fatal Flaw: The key ring will break. My drive fell in to the street after the tiny little plastic ring broke and I am very lucky that I noticed it. I can't believe it was engineered with such a flimsy key ring. Terrible. Also, why exclude the write-protect switch? It would be nice to feel security from viruses when attaching to public or friend's PCs. But mostly, stay away if you intend to put it on a chain or key ring.

Iomega ZIP 250MB External Drive - USB Powered

Price : Too low to display

The Zip 250 USB drive offers an ultrathin, mobile design that meets the high-capacity storage needs for both PC and Mac users. The sleek translucent blue Zip USB drive is an inch thick and weighs just under a pound, the Zip 250 USB drive can accompany the most demanding mobile computer user. Conveniently connect the drive using the industry-standard USB port. It reads and writes to both 250MB and 100MB Zip disks but can not read or write to 750MB Zip disks.

This review is from : Iomega ZIP 250MB External Drive - USB Powered
Flexible Data Storage and Transfer . IOMEGA ZIP 250MB USB Powered

This ZIP250USBPCMBP device allows both storage and transfer of data at a high rate of speed. Computers have a limit on the number of IDE devices, and desktop computers have a limited number of bays. The disks may be replaced to provide vast storage within the 250Mb limit. This transfer is about as fast as an internal IDE ZIP device. The 250 unit can read and write the more popular 100Mb ZIP disks as well (but can't do a Long Format). You should use the EJECT command instead of the eject button because of write caching by the operating system.

Remove the disk before turning a computer off. You should never insert a ZIP disk in the drive when the computer is off as this can cause damage. Normally, shutting down the computer causes the disk to eject. If you lose power, you must disconnect power to the computer, open its cover, and push a straightened paper clip into the Emergency Eject Hole.

The "User's Manual" warns against using the Operating System to copy a disk. Use the Iomega "Copy Machine" program. Right click on the ZIP drive to select the Iomega "Format" function. Use "Short Format" to delete all data on a ZIP disk. The "Long Format" repairs a 250 disk with errors, converts from another format, or removes all passwords. "Write Protection" protects against writing over data, a password can protect against both reading and writing files. You can also flag the ZIP drive as "non-removable" so it appears like a hard drive. The manual has the details.

An Iomega ZIP USB drive has its drive letter assigned after the CD-rom drive letter(s). This is the optimal unit for most people. Will the data on a disk survive for over a decade? Not with some floppy disks. Few hard drives survive 10 years of daily use. All your important data files should be copied from a hard drive to ZIP drives or other media. ZIP drives, like floppies, should not be exposed to magnetic fields or high heat. CDs can be damaged by high heat. ZIP disks are reusable, replacing data does not decrease the size. A CD disk consumes space when a file is replaced. Both can have labels. Some say ZIP drives are obsolete, but not as long as they are useful to you. A ZIP disk has no compatibility problems between different systems and computers. A CD written on one system may not be updated by a different system if the software is incompatible.

Feature Iomega ZIP 250MB External Drive - USB Powered

  • Iomega USB 250MB Zip Drive for use with PC or Mac
  • USB powered - no additional power connection required
  • Reads and writes to both 250MB and 100MB Zip disks
  • Can not read or write to 750MB Zip disks
  • The sleek translucent blue Zip drive is extremely portable

This review is from : 4GB Memorex USB Traveldrive GEN2
4GB Traveldrive . This flash drive is amazing, it is so much better than my PNY Attatche`. It has plenty of space and has a nice sleak erganomic design. Unlike my Attatche` the cover fits on the back even with the lanyard clipped on! It also built sturdily, unlike the attatche` that you could pull the covers off of it.
4GB Memorex USB Traveldrive GEN2 Reviews
Great price for the size . Have not had any problems yet. I needed more space to store 5 years worth of pics, and may buy another. Much better than carrying around 4 1GB thumb drives.
4GB Memorex USB Traveldrive GEN2 Opinions
great drive . I bought this drive as a replacement for a smaller drive that I lost. The 4GB is plenty of space for images, documents and pdfs. I use it at home and at work on mac and pc computers.
Outstanding product . I use it every day for work and home. It even survived a trip through the washer and dryer.
4 GB Memorex USB Travel Drive . Works great, I put 57 HOURS of my favotite music from windows media player 10 on it & listen to my music on the company's comuters at work. Formats & re-loads easily. I'm having a good time with it.
serves it's purpose . i don't have any complaints. its pretty straight forward. just plug it in and "drag & drop". i am using it to backup my pictures. it beats having to save them to a CD b/c it is much quicker and obviously WAY more storage space. i've only used 2gb so far.
Best . This is the best one that I've tried, easy to use. I put an icon on the desktop and sometimes work from there. And the cap fits. Plenty of space for my pictures and address book .I have three.
Excellent flash drive . I only can say that's excellent flash drive and has a huge size for storage.
Finest Flash Drive I've ever owned . Snap up this model of Memorex flash drives while you can. I've owned HP, PNY and Memorex flash drives, and the Memorex is by far the best of the three. They transfer at lightning speeds, never fail, and quite frankly, the handy strap that comes with it makes them easy to find in a travel bag or wear around you neck as you go from meeting to meeting. I own four Memorex travel drives (this model, identified by the length and grey/silver color) for the four different areas of my life: work, home projects, finances, and volunteer work. They help keep me organized and never fail.

Cons Review
Memorex 4Gig USB TravelDrive . Oh you can go wrong buying from Memorex and there is a surprise!
I just bought the 4 Gig GEN2 adn my last Memorex anything.
NOTE from Memorex WEB page:

USB Flash Drives (TravelDrives)
Limited 1-Year Warranty: Memorex warrants this product against defects for one year from the date of original purchase. Purchaser's exclusive remedy is limited to replacement of any defective product. This warranty applies to the original purchaser, proof of original retail purchase is required. This warranty applies only to this product and excludes bundled software, connected equipment or data recorded in any form. In no event shall Memorex be responsible for any direct, incidental, consequential or other damages of any kind.

You can see the warranty states replace! I just called them as the 4-gig drive I just bought is dead. I plugged it into the computer, transferred one small file to it and went to transfer the second and the drive was "write protected". There is no fix and I cannot remove my data from it. I found allot of people on the web that have the same problem. Nobody can fix it. Even Memorex states it cannot be fixed.

It was plugged in for 2 minutes. Memorex tells me I can ship it to them and they will send me a "reconditioned" unit. OR, I can contact the online company I bought it from and have them replace it. So, I paid $60.00 for new and got 2 min of use and they want to send me a reconditioned unit that if it happens again, they will claim there is no warranty for reconditioned product. They will not send a new one and THEY WANT ME TO SEND MY DATA TO SOMEONE ELSE.

You will also note the warranty on the web is 1 year. The warranty with the drive is 2 years. Well 2 years or 2 min. which ever comes first. I'm done. I won't do business with a multi-million dollar company that FAILS to disclose they replace product with refurbished item and makes there money by ripping off the little guy or the people who sell there product.

Feature 4GB Memorex USB Traveldrive GEN2

Looks like candy?? . 64 GB's can fit a lot of stuff. Got it for a good price on Amazon, and something like this would have cost twice as more at other places. Should be compatible with most systems, namely Mac or Windows. The newer, the better.

Excellent storage center plus . I bought this product after Thanksgiving Day. (...) What a great deal! This product has so many features such as built-in FTP server, authorization and group access, file sharing, 2 USB ports for printer or hard drive, sleep mode, and etc. I really enjoy this product.
BUFFALO TECHNOLOGY HD-H120LAN LinkStation Network Storage Center Reviews
Great idea bad implementation . This Network Attached Storage device looks like a great idea, and it mostly does what it advertises. It does make 120GB of storage available over your network and is reasonably priced.

There are some significant flaws. First, the user interface does not allow you to give someone read only access to a particular share. Buffalo could fix this simply by changing the firmware, and it really is a pretty significant oversight. The whole point of having network attached storage is to allow multiple users on a network to have different access levels to data.

Also, the unit is sealed and thus does not allow the user to change the hard drive.

There are other options out there. The Linksys NSLU2 will allow you to hook up USB drives to a network and does allow read only user level access. In additionl, Linksys also has the EFG120 which does the same thing, but has internal IDE hard drives which are user replaceable.
BUFFALO TECHNOLOGY HD-H120LAN LinkStation Network Storage Center Opinions
I love it - and it's very quiet . I bought both a 160 GB and a 120 GB Linkstation. Product manual was a bit too brief, but after a few quick calls to Buffalo customer support I had the 120 up and running in no time (Customer service support was fabulous - especially after hours). Unfortunately, the 160 had some type of defect. Customer support walked me through a firmware upgrade and other tweaks - but we never got the drive to a point where it was usable, so I had to return it.

Also, the 120 drive was significantly quiter than the 160 drive. I don't know if this was just the luck of the draw, or if the larger drive always makes more noise. The difference was so significant that I've actually decided not to buy another 160 version.

All in all, I was very impressed with Buffalo's customer support - and I love what the Linkstation does for my home network (which is a mix of Mac and PC platforms). I suspect the defective 160 drive I recieved was an exception, but I love the 120 GB drive.
outstanding! . this unit is sooo easy to setup, just plug it into your router and you can see it immediately! software is foolproof, unit is fast and reliable. this unit is awesome, no complaints at all!
Great Product . This small hard drive is just like a small server, great for share files in a home network.

This review is from : Maxtor U01E100 100GB External Hard Drive USB 2.0
massive storage for the price . on a price/value scale this is an amazing device.

my only complaints would be you should carry the drivers with you on CD or otherwise.. some versions of windows just dont like this drive. I have seen computers accept it the first time as an "USB mass storage device" and then not after that... so some versions of windows just do not like this drive as a USB plug in. Having the drivers on hand solves the problem.

On computers that recognize the drive? excellence. It is not that fast unfortunately to say run an emulated game system... but for basic function it really does a nice job. Don't expect it to be like a flash drive/mem stick.. more like a hybrid of a traditional drive/mem stick. The fact that it is so small is incredible.

one other complaint ? no case. it should have at least a soft shell case. Obviously people are buying it for portability.. a case would be a nice option. Personally I went to staples and bought a caselogic softshell case for $10.99.. I think it was a case for an MP3 player.. but it fit.
Maxtor U01E100 100GB External Hard Drive USB 2.0 Reviews
Very Good Choice . Unless you have tons of photos and MP3 files, a 100 GB hard drive is more than enough to back up all of your data and then some. In fact, even if you have lots of MP3 and digital photos, it will probably be adequate. I think someone complained because it doesn't have 100 gb of usable storage, well that's true of all hard drives. Every drive on the market has software that utilizes a small portion of the drive, so that's a moot point.

I've had the drive about 6 months and it's been quiet and worked perfectly. I haven't noticed any excessive heat as the unit stays relatively cool. The only complaint I have is the lack of a power switch to turn it on or off. That could be a problem, however, I resolved this issue by plugging the Maxtor into it's own surge protector. So when I'm finished backing up files, I simply turn off the surge protector.

Cons Review
Used it maybe 20 times now only several years after buying it - it is useless . When I bought this Maxtor 100 GB external hard drive I expected I would be able to use it for nearly a decade with light use and save my video and image files to it. So several months ago while trying to move some files from one computer to another I powered it up and this hard drive started to make a clicking sound and refused to connect to the computer. This was after it had been sitting unused for several months. I was angry and frustrated, having invested what I consider a lot of money in this thing it just stopped working with no warning. I only used it several times a year and had done nothing to it to damage it.

I guess you really begin to value your memories only when you lose them, because all we really have left of the past are photos, video recordings, and documents. In this case they are in digital format inside of an unusable hard drive. This taught me a valuable lesson - don't buy products with a 90 day warranty. If a manufacturer won't stand behind their product for more than 3 months then I should avoid it.
Read fine print. 100GB Maxtor = 93 GB Windows . At work I normally buy Seagate drives and expect 1 GB = 1,024,000,000 bytes, so 100 GB will show up in Windows as 100GB. The fine print on this box explains Maxtor defines 1GB as 1,000,000,000 bytes, which consequently shows up as 93 GB in Windows. The system requirements list Windows 2000 Pro, XP Pro or XP Home, so they are being purposefully deceitful in this definition of a GB.

Other than that surprise, the drive worked fine out of the box. Not very fast, but fine for offline file storage.

Very cool.. . This is a really nice looking little tiny flash drive, the body is made of metal with an antique finish to it, it has to be turned to get the usb part out,it came with no software whatsoever which is excellent.

One issue..because of it's shape you can't use the ports next to it, thats about it.

Excellent drive it gave me a maximum transfer speed of 9.50 Mbs/Sec (I have a 7200 rpm hard disk).
LaCie CurrenKey 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 130825 (Bronze) Reviews
Nice item! Fun to own. Great novelty but also useful. . I purchased one of these for myself and one for a gift. I can't speak for the receiver of the gift, but I am quite pleased with this device. Although it is a little larger than necessary, it is the novelty of looking like a coin that makes this fun to own. Pull it out of your pocket and pop out the USB connector and plug it in and people are really amazed by it.
Of course, it blocks the adjacent USB ports due to its size. It works well with a USB splitter.
I'm pleased with this purchase and hope my gift recipient is pleased as well.

This edition of God on the Go is fully compatible with Macs and PCs!

What is God on the Go?

1. Your Typical USB Flash Drive: 90% of the capacity of this device is free space so you can also use it to carry other important files, songs and videos.

2. Your Bible: This device holds every book, chapter and verse you would find in a print version of the Bible. The NAB edition even includes all the footnotes.

3. Your Daily Reading Bible: This device can take you directly to the daily readings on the USCCB website (internet connection required).

4. Your Faith Topic Study Aide: This device indexes the Bible based on a wide array of topics important to many. It's your digital spiritual advisor.

6. Your 5-Gram Source for Spiritual Strength: Carry this with you anywhere and insert it into any computer USB port.

Three Reasons Why You Should Use God on the Go

1. Portability - Never lug around a heavy Bible again. This flash drive fits in the palm of your hand.

2. Being Green - No trees are cut down to produce God on the Go and all electronics used comply with European RoHS standards.

3. Ease of Use - No more rifling through thousands of thin pages (that always seem to stick together) just to find a single verse. Instead, locate Scripture passages easily with only a few clicks.

This review is from : God on the Go - NRSV Catholic edition Complete Bible
Could be so much better . Although a good start, the software provided is pretty poor. The application is poorly designed and the data on the drive is pretty minimal. Yes it's the full bible text on a USB drive, but the footnotes are not linked to the text, verse numbers are not always right and the topic index is, frankly, trite. The application is painfully slow turning pages -the entire product could be so much better with a bit more thought. Finally the daily readings is just a link to the USCCB website and the version used on that website is not the same as that on the drive!

However, it is the bible on a thumb drive in a Catholic edition which may be all you need.
God on the Go - NRSV Catholic edition Complete Bible Reviews
Updated with Deuteroconical Texts . "God-on-the-Go" is the creation of a technology professional that left a ten year career after being inspired to do something more meaningful with his life. The result which was introduced in the spring, 2009, was a marvelous innovation that provides Catholics who are laptop (or desktop) computer users with the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) Bible anywhere, anytime - all on a USB flash drive. The publisher has now, with the New Revised Standard Edition (NRSV) Catholic Edition, included the Deuteroconical texts.

"God-on-the-Go" was designed with multiple features to meet the diverse needs of all who study or refer to the Word of God. It comes with a topic index (anger, joy, etc.), book marking capability for passages of great personal interest, and daily readings from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

You must see it to believe it. All who have seen "God-On-The-Go" have ordered several - one for themselves and others for use as gifts. In addition, the complete bible with all its features only uses 10% of the 1 GB flash drive, leaving plenty of room for files, music, and videos.

Ironkey 4GB Personal D200 USB 2.0 Flash Drive D2-D200-S04-2FIPS USB Flash Drives

This review is from : Personal D200 4GB
Ironkey knows it's trade . This is the best usb flash drive I know of and that's why this is the second one I have. The first one was a gift but was stolen from me and I liked it so much that I bought this one.The physical sturdiness of the Ironkey is the first thing that you see. It is built to withstand extreme handling and it shows the moment you lay your hands on it. Obviously all the other security features are pretty neat as well; I especially like the built-in firefox that lets you navigate as a ghost on the host computer.A friend of mine once put his Ironkey inside a full water bottle and let it sit there for a week. After we took it out, it worked just fine.If there is one thing I would improve on the design is that the cap can get lost since it does not have a string or anything to keep it attached to the drive once you take it off.
Personal D200 4GB Reviews
The best flash drive . Had been experimenting with software based flash drive encryption. After many, many tries with quirky software (none of which worked well at my workplace with no administrative rights) I went for the IronKey. I will never look back. It is the best there is and always works flawlessly. It has on board password manager, stealth Firefox, encrypted backups, and you can store your passwords on their site. They got your back. Just rock solid in every way... if you don't have one yet, then my data is SAFER than yours : )
Personal D200 4GB Opinions
More than just secure . Everyone keeps raving about the security feature (which of course is awesome) but what about the Identity Manager? That's what I really love about this. I have about 25 work related passwords that I have to remember and change every 90 days, not to mention my 50+ personal passwords. With this I only have to remember 1. That right there makes it worth every penny :-)

Was not new . This was supposed to be new and it was obviously not. The eject button was broken and there were scratches on it inicating it had been used before. It does work and will serve my purposes but I will never order anything from this seller again. Note it was not Amazon that sold the product but Amazon represents the seller.
