Good drive but the name is deceptive. . This drive will work very well for 95% of people out there. I tested the performance and it worked out to a read speed of 20+ Mb/s and a write speed of a little less than 5 Mb/s. These speeds are very standard and maybe better than average for the price. The reason I rated the item 3 stars is because it is NOT and SLC flash drive. Based of the performance it is a standard MLC flash drive. If it were an SLC drive it would have similar read/write speeds. I would have given this product 5 stars if it did not have SLC in the name of the device, then again I would not have purchased it in the first place since I was looking for an SLC drive. The reality is if you want a real SLC flash drive you will pay $50 for 4gb as of late 2009.

ITS ALIVE! . Had this flash drive for several weeks now, still works. No compliants so far about performance, but I have only 2 gigs of data for now. Very lightweight, nice shiny coat even though its plastic. One thing that can be annoying is the huge bright red light that is always on. It still flashes when its reading and writing like any other flash drive, but when its not doing anything, the light stays on.

Plug and play and still working several months later! . I was hesitant to purchase this drive from Super Talent because I wasn't too familiar with their brand / reputation. Needless to say, several months later, after using this drive every day, it still works perfectly :).

Cons Review
Super Talent 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive . The first month or so it worked as it should; then it stopped working properly. It would only hold about 5GB. Then sporadically until I threw it away. Would not buy again.. I lost the receipt or it would have been returned..
