What they don't tell you . I bought this for the sole purpose of being able to transfer video files to my Ipad2 without having to go to a computer all the time. It is advertised as being Plug n Play and that no apps or software are needed. Wrong. If you want to play any file that has been downloaded from Itunes, you have to buy M4V converter software to get rid of the write protect embedded in music and videos. Also, since files show up in photos on the Ipad, one has to make a folder for each individual file with the name of the video or audio file you want to import or what you will get is dozens of little boxes that say nothing more than M4v or Mp3. I spent days back and forth with a support technician from hypershop learning how this simple plug n play device works. There are no instructions or manual on how to use this device with Ipad.
