Suprisingly pleased . I ordered this product for myself (another usb drive I really didn't need). But upon opening the package I was very happy to see just how small it actually is. I actually made a necklace out of it due to it's light weight and small size. I can easily see myself recommending this very product to friends and fammily.

Simple does its job. . I use this USB drive to carry both my school work and my Xbox 360 Gamertag/saves. The drive doesn't pass the Xbox 360 performance test, but unless you're playing games off it, there's nothing obviously noticeable when saving/loading saves or my Gamertag. The sliding mechanism seems to be working well; it's been 3 weeks so far and it hasn't given me any problems. Overall, not bad for a $10 USB drive. I did wish it came with a strap or hook of some sort, though.

I needed a 8GB drive to transfer data from one laptop to another so I could lend a back up to a friend for a while without my data on it. I was impressed by the speed at which all data files, documents, pictures an like were copied onto your product. I am a plastics engineer an was hesitant at first when I purchased your product knowing it was made of plastic, but when I received an studied it I was very impressed by the high quality material that you have chosen for use in manufacture of your product. The tongue insertion portion of the flash drives vertical walls are sturdy show no weakness an should last the life of the product. The engagement feature is a positive snap lock click feature that positively locks in place, a feature that I definitely like. Something that most others I have purchased do not have. The only Con... is that I would like to see a function light blinking to indicate download cycle is running. Other than that I find this a superior product for the price an performance and I will definitely recommended this flash drive to my friends an family.

Cons Review
Worse than previous generation . This new Sandisk Cruzer Edge is a disappointment. Slower and less durable than previous models. Instead of usual metal USB plug, the plug is made of thin plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually cracked or snapped off while plugging it in.

Bought two returned two . I bought two of these on-line from Staples. The first one didn't work right. After looking at a file in the "secure" area I had to exit the program and completely remove the flash drive from the USB port before I could click to another file. So I took it to my friendly, neighborhood Staples store to see if they could help me to just go from one file to another without completely removing the flash drive from my computer first. They couldn't do it either; said it was defective. So I ordered another one (it's not carried in the store), and took it to the store unopened, to see if they could school me in it's use. The same problem was encountered. They asked me how much it was and I said I got it on sale for $9.99. They said maybe that's because it doesn't work. Would you like your money back? I did opt to get my money back and not bother trying a third one.
Cheap . I was replacing my late lacie imakey LaCie iamakey v2 8 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 131105 which lasted nearly two years with heavy daily usage on a key ring. Trying to save money I purchased this drive which was less than half the price of the laci imakey. To my disappointment the key ring clip broke after only a few weeks use. Don't be cheap, buy the drive thats 2x the cost but will last 10x longer.
