Great hard drive but with reservations . This drive has some pretty good features and is loaded with space. I use 3 of them for archiving my movies (DVD and Blu-Ray) and Steam games. I was considering buying a NAS (Network Attached Storage), but these drives work for what I need right now. Note: when you first setup the drive (after installing Buffalo Tools), make sure the formatting and RAID options are correct before you transfer files to the drive (RAID 0, 1, none).PROs:

RAID options: 0/1/none
USB 3.0: faster transfer speeds, especially for streaming Blu-Ray movies straight from the hard drive.Cons:
Reliability (see below)I have 3 of these drives (1 purchased on this site) and I'm happy with them overall, but one of the drives stopped working and will not power up. It seems like a faulty internal power supply, which has also been noted in reviews on other sites. When the drive is plugged into power and the computer via USB, the blue LED power indication light only blinks intermittently. I understand that drives can fail eventually, but I don't think this is reasonable for the drive to fail like this, especially this soon (less than 1 year). I will troubleshoot further to determine if data can be accessed from the hard drives as internal HDDs.
