functional useful and cost effective . this is a 2GB sandisk. For the cost, it is effective. I use it to hand off data to someone that for some reason I am unable or unwilling to email or send it over a network connection, sort of like a large, durable floppy disk. I'm not worried about not getting it back, and it's big enough for the majority of my needs.

Good basic USB jump drive . I bought a couple of these because I specifically wanted red ones so I could easily differentiate my own from ones I use with students They work well, and I like the fact that the USB thingy retracts so there's no cap to lose. This is not a particularly durable flash drive; I've had no problems with it, but it certainly isn't intended to be one of those rugged ones that can take abuse.
