Works on most computers . ...but it doesn't work on some very old computers. I think this is pretty much the status quo for flash drives.

Does not work as storage for Blu-ray player . I had originally given this item only one star because it wouldn't work with my Blu-ray player (see below for the original review). However, following the link [...] kindly provided in the first comment to this review, it was fairly easy to remove the extra partition on the USB stick and make it usable for my Blu-ray player. So, now it works as it should have out of the box. Thus I give it four stars now (would be five stars if the stick didn't come with the useless partitioning and apps that just take up storage in the first place. The apps are rather useless, even if I were to use this stick for data storage on a computer).

I bought this USB stick to be used as storage for a Sony BD player (to use BD live, etc.). However, the player says the stick is an invalid device and cannot be used as storage.
My guess is this is because this USB stick actually contains two partitions: one that looks like a read-only CD drive (which contains a bunch of useless applications) and a "real" writeable partition. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a easy way to fix this using the BD player or a Windows XP computer.
On the plus side, this USB stick was inexpensive (approx. $1.75 per GB) and seems to work OK when connected to a computer. But this is rather useless to me. So I can't rate it more than one star.

Cons Review
Stopped working at 2 months . I had one of these before, it went through the washer and dryer and came out still working, but I still wanted to replace it just in case.
Bought this one here on Amazon and it just quit after 2 months.
