It displays full screen image, thumbnails or slideshows. The advanced file manager allows exploring contents of internal hard drive or any memory card. Preview images in the background without entering folders. Perform advanced file and folder operations like copy, cut, paste, delete, rename, create new folder, sort file directory by name/date/type, format hard drive, erase card etc. Selectively copy single or multiple files/folders between memory card and internal hard drive. Best "photo backup drive" . Bought this back up drive to backup my CF cards when on a photoshoot. The drive if fairly compact, the screen is decent, even though I will never use it to review photos, the menu system is straight forward and intuitive. I have used some of my older non-UDMA cards and I back up 700 12 MP pictures (350 JPEG - 350 NEF)in less than 3 minutes
It comes with a wall charger AND a car charger, a pouch and a nifty little multi-screw driver that you can use to access the battery or replace/up-grade the hard drive.
Last but not least, if you get an optional cable you can do double backups to any external USB hard drive.
The only sort coming is the manual, it is very basic.
I haven't had a chance to run down the battery to find out if the claim that it will last a full upload of 250 GB is real.
