Great drive! . I have been using HP products for years from laptops, desktop, monitor, printers, etc. Always satisfy with their great quality, better compare to other major computer/electronics manufacturers. This drive is no exception. It's small enough to really put in your shirt/jeans pocket. Good build with very acceptable noise level. Never need to contact HP support for this one but on my previous occasions for other products, I always get outstanding customer service.
This drive I could just insert it in my HP desktop pocket bay or use provided USB cable to connect it to any computer/device. Thumbs up for another excellent product from HP!

love this product . works great and has come in handy for large file transfer at a client event. Well worth the money on a great product. AMAZON has the best prices, I looked at a local office supply place and the price was $30-40 higher and it was a special order item that would take 3 weeks to get, AMAZON delivered within a week.

Cons Review
Great drive when it works horrendous HP Warranty Repair Service . When it works and when the computer recognizes the drive, it's a great combination. My drive began sporadically not being recognized by my desktop shortly after purchasing it. The problem became progressively worse and I no longer could count on it to conduct scheduled backups. Speaking to HP Support, they suggested returning the drive for warranty repair. They have now had it for 2 1/2 weeks and estimate I should have it in another 2 weeks! That's a month without the drive. Totally unacceptable. I shudder to think how long HP would take to repair a full scale computer under warranty. Mark Hurd, please come back!
UPDATE: I'm now told that I must wait another 2 weeks for the repaired drive for a total of 6 weeks! I would strongly urge anyone thinking of purchasing an HP product to carefully consider the impact of doing without that item for a month and 1/2 in the event it requires repair. A remarkable tale of a company that has clearly lost its way.
UPDATE 2: Well, if the experience I had yesterday is typical, HP is in chaos. After about 20 minutes on the phone with Customer Service (obviously a total misnomer) I spoke with a 'Case Manager'. After another 10 minutes she determined that HP may have to send me new unit. When I asked when, she said she would have to "find" one so she couldn't tell me when It would be shipped and indeed it couldn't be shipped any way but 'normal'. But she promised to call me later in the day when she had more info. You guessed it, Friday passed with no call from my 'Case Manger.'
UPDATE 3: Approximately 6 weeks after sending my drive to HP they have sent me a new one. It seems to work perfectly. Why this couldn't have been accomplished 3 or 4 weeks ago is a commentary on HP's inept warranty service. Bye bye, HP.
