You have to check this enclosure out! . Absolutely no problem with this purchase or product! This enclosure is great! The usb and card reader ports in front are really nice to have. Bought two of them. Installed a WD 320 in one and a 1 TB WD in the other, no problems so far!!!

Nifty features; needs better cooling and front power switch . I've two spare WD hard drives. I bought two of these cases.
I love the flash drive slots and USB ports on the front!
Installation was a breeze.
But I'd love to see better cooling; or even a fan. The drives get a tad warm in them.
I don't use the 'backup' button on either unit, but there seems enough room for a power button in the front anyway.
Would also like to see an internal adapter cable so I can hook up my Velociraptor -- the connections can't match up due to the Velociraptor's special heatsink. :(
Mostly minor quarrels, but it has far more pros than cons.
Oh, the silver color matches my iMac and Macbook too. :D

Great Product - Easy to Set Up and Use . I had an internal EIDE hard drive that I wanted to use as an external drive. The Rocketfish drive case arrived within a couple of days. The installation instructions were clear and set up was easy. I had it running within 15 minutes. The only hassle was the tight fitting made getting the screw alignments in place very tedious. Otherwise, its a great product.

LOVE this!! . I have owned this enclosure for going on 4 years now and it is exactly what I've needed in an external enclosure!! I'm a geeky/technophile type so installation wasn't a problem for me anyway but I would say it should be pretty simple for the average user too. I tell ya what... I'm also a mom to four incredibly crazy children and this thing has survived them and four tumultuous moves. It has been dropped I don't even know how many times, I'm amazed that it's still working AND that the hard drive inside is still passing all of the tests! It's truly incredible. I actually bought this enclosure to replace a previous enclosure. The hard drive comes out of a previous external drive... a Seagate FreeAgent 250gb to be exact. It too had been dropped on several occasions and it didn't take long before the USB port broke off the mainboard. I pulled it apart, retrieved the drive, put the drive into this RocketFish enclosure and haven't looked back!
I also want to add that this thing is incredibly quiet. I remember on the Seagate enclosure, the fan could always be heard from the next room. I only know when my Rocketfish one is on because of the pretty orange lights (which aren't obnoxiously bright, but bright enough that you can see them)

Best HDD Enclosure Ever . The Rocketfish 3.5" HDD Enclosure allowed me to rescue my data from my old XP Desktop computer and copy the entire contents to my new computer. It is easy to setup and comes with additional USB Ports and memory card reader.
The ease of use and sleak styling makes for the perfect desktop accessory. I now use this HDD as a backup drive and have all my files safely and soundly stored.

Very nice product . I've installed this storage enclosure and it works great! I was impressed with the quality of the unit and the nice components that came with it. I'm using my old SATA drive as a backup drive now and couldn't be happier.
