Sturdy Thin and Resonably Fast . This is the same thing as the SanDisk USB Cruzer Micro Skin without the skin, and in a 16GB version. From doing some reading, and looking at the part number, it looks like this is made by some sort of division of SanDisk. I've owned dozens of USB flash drives over the years, and the SanDisk USB Cruzer Micro Skins I've owned have been the absolute best. I don't care that there's no skin with this particular model because the skins were worthless - they just made the drive bigger, and they would just slide off and get lost anyhow. I've dropped my uncovered SanDisk skins in snow, ran them through the wash, smashed them, and not a one has ever broken or died on me. They are a nice size to keep on a keychain without adding too much bulk, and made of decent quality metal. In the past I've tried the USB flash drives with half type USB connector, and they always eventually have trouble staying in various USB ports. I've also tried the mini ones where the USB connector is made out of plastic and the plastic always ends up breaking off. This one holds nice in sturdy in every USB slot I've tried it in, including in the front of my car stereo.
Like the newer SanDisk Cruzer USB Skin Drives, this does have a pulsating/blinking LED activity light that lights up the translucent rubber keychain attachment. Like most people find, it can get annoying since I use this in the front USB input in my car stereo, and at night. I wish there was some sort of way to disable it through software, but since there's not, all you need to do disable it is:
Grab a fine flat head jewelers screwdriver.
Lift up the label near the keychain end (or just rip the whole thing off and put some other sticker there when you're done since no one uses it anyhow).
Pry up on the two metal pins that are bent in to hold the keychain clip on using the screwdriver.
The keychain clip will now slide out.
Use the screwdriver to pry up on the LED on the circuit board and pop it off.
Push back down on the label or put another sticker there to cover back up the pry slot.
It will take you all of 5 whole minutes.

16GB Drvie-easystore USB 2.0 Hi-speed Reviews
What became of the Cruzer microskin . This product is excellent. It is also marketed by SanDisk as the Cruzer microskin, but at the lesser capacities. The big advantage it has is that it can be easily labeled and color coded, but unfortunately the color coded sleeves have disappeared along with the protection for the label. Still, it is one of the more versatile products and I use a great number of them for backing up important files- and especially since it is narrow enough to fit in the older USB slots. The only criticism I would have is that the company should make still higher capacities.

16GB Drvie-easystore USB 2.0 Hi-speed Opinions
Great Little Flash Drive . Puchased this flash drive seven months ago and couldn't be happier. As a previous reviewer had mentioned, it is basically a San Disk Cruiser without the skin. I puchased based on owning a smaller San Disk Cruiser drive that I was also happy with. The 16G size makes it so easy to back up and transport files. I'm no techie, but this has worked very well for my needs.

Cons Review
No warranty in the U.S. . I was about to buy one of these because it felt solid and perfect for a keychain, but the 2-year warranty isn't valid is the U.S. The packaging states that the warranty is only valid in Europe and Canada.
