Formatted with Disk Utility to MAC OSX Extended Journaled.
Very stylish exterior casing, brushed metallic silver that matches the MacBook Air beautifully.
Coincidentally, it matches the MAC PRO MC506LL/A likewise.
The only thing I don't like is the glaring/flashing blue LED on the front, it is exceptionally bright (annoying).
Dimensions: 4.75" x 3" x 0.35" Weight: 5oz.
It comes with a black neoprene sleeve carry case (zippered pouch) with accessory pocket...and (1) USB "Y" cable for USB 3.0.
The USB "Y" cable can accommodate dual USB power sources.
I can't comment on the software that's included because I deleted it immediately, right-out-of-the box!
Rapid file transfer times from MAC PRO MC506LL/A (mid-2010).
I moved 754GB video files via USB 2.0 in less than six hours...that's approximately 125GB/hour or 2083mB/min*
*these file transfer speeds are rough approximations and should be taken literally as individual systems will vary.
