Great Lexar device . I own a number of Lexar devices and this JumpDrive works very well. No issues with it when used via Windows 7, WinXP, Samsung TV's and OPPO Digital Blu-ray players. It just plain works! I would recommend this product.

Tough flash drive! . I lost this flash drive shortly after I purchased it. A couple of days later my wife found it in our dryer. It was piping hot. Even though it has gone through the washing machine and dryer, it still works perfectly. I'm impressed! A second factor about this drive is that it works great with Mac computers. The reason why I don't give it full stars is that the case has a cheap feel and the retractable component rattles around a bit inside the case. These are not major issues, however.

Not fast not pretty but I like it for its sturdy build and good value . I needed yet another flash drive for our car's MP3 player - running out of space on the current 8GB and thought quadrupling the capacity would be the radical thing to do. There's not much to say about a flash drive but, for the little that it is, here are my impressions. I prefixed the positives with a +, the negatives with a - and the 'as expected with an = sign.
+ Large enough to store thousands (5-6000+) songs, possibly even more photos
+ Nice paint job. If you have several Retrax of different capacities (I have a 64GB too) each come in different colors
+ Solid construction. It feels almost 'armored', inspires confidence that it will survive accidents such as dropping it, especially when the USB plug is retracted.
+ The activity light is more discrete than what you get on a SanDisk Cruiser. A good thing.
= 2-year 'limited warranty' but don't expect to get a replacement if you step on it.
- Speed, especially 'write' speed is not that good but if you use it for backups or to store media files it's not a big deal?
- The plastic knob that extends/retracts the USB plug looks and feels really cheap but I don't look at my flash drives too often so it's no big deal.

32MB SD Card . I keep all of my software on my computer at all times (in case I need to reinstall, it's always with me and it's quicker,) but keeping copies of software takes up a lot of space, so I decided to utilize my SD card slot and install a SD card to load all of my software--it works perfectly and it's off of my HD.
Cons Review
Terrible jump drive . I'm usually partial to Lexar products, but this jump drive has done nothing but cause me problems. Half of the time it's plugged into my computer, it won't read - the other half of the time, it randomly goes back and forth from being read to being "improperly ejected." The actual jump drive is HUGE, both in terms of length and width. In fact, it's so wide, nothing else can by plugged into the 2nd USB port on my Macbook.
