Reliable with fast reads and writes on my Windows 7 system. Highly recommended . Maybe I'm just lucky or an earlier reviewer was just not. Fortunately, my Corsair 32GB drive worked without problem the first time it was installed. Surprisingly, it transferred files 2-3 times faster than my 32 GB, Gen 2, Kingston drive using my USB 2.0 ports. Specifically, files were transferred as fast as 17 MB/second, and probably averaged about 10 MB/second. It's likely considerably faster on USB 3.0 systems. However, perhaps even more important than speed, which on my Windows 7 system this drive demonstrates, is the question of longevity. Although some users mention a 10 year Corsair warranty, the advertising packed with my drive mentions only a "5 year limited warranty". Hopefully, I'll never have to find our the exact conditions of the "limited warranty". Although I've used it considerably past the limited functioning period reported by an earlier reviewer, I haven't had this drive long enough to comment appropriately on its long-term longevity. However, I've had no problems to date and I keep it plugged in, sometimes continuously for days. If any problems should arise, I'll update this review accordingly. Up to this point the drive continues to work flawlessly, and reads and writes with relatively high speeds. As it was purchased on sale, I can happily say I'm fully satisfied with both price and performance. From my personal experience - highly recommended.

Excellent value for a USB 3.0 drive . One of the best things about this drive is the fact that it's USB 3.0 which is still difficult to find, at least at a reasonable price; which brings me to my next point and that is the price. This is probably the best priced USB 3.0 32GB drive on the market right now. Eventually they will all come down in price more as USB 3.0 drives become more widely available. Until then, this is probably the best you're going to find for the money. The rubberized coating is thick and so far, very durable. You can drop this drive (which I've already done a couple times when I dropped my keys) and it's fine; just bounces off the ground and continues working as normal. Also, the end of the drive that you plug into the computer has a rubberized cap which I believe makes it waterproof or at least water resistant.

Great Price Arrived Quickly Works Great. . This flash drive was a great deal. I wanted it to transfer larger video files in between computers which it does just fine, even between a Mac and a PC. As always the service from Amazon.com was quick and accurate. Of course, I saved the gas of driving to an electronics store which may or may not have had this great item at this price.

Corsair 32-GB Flash Voyager USB 3.0 Flash Drive . I've owned this for one month. This drive replaced another 32-GB unit by another manufacturer which I had accidentally damaged. The Flash Voyager is physically large --4-1/8 in. long -- looking more like a switchblade knife, perhaps, than a flash drive. I haven't had occasion to use it in a USB 3.0 port, only USB 2.0 where I would say it's nearly as fast as my prior unit when reading from the Flash Voyager, but perceptably slower when data written to the Flash Voyager. There are times when I've used a short extender cable to connect due to the "fatness" of the unit. The rubber wrapper makes it slightly too large to fit between other USB connectors on some machines. I have mine on a lanyard and I drilled a tiny hole in the end cap and attached a length of nylon line through it to tether the cap to the lanyard ring so I don't lose it. The unit does what I need it to do and if it lasts as long as my old 8-GB Flash Voyager, I'll be satisfied. I'm looking forward to the chance to give a try at USB 3.0 speeds. If it were only a bit smaller, physically, I would give it 5 stars.

Cons Review
Flash Voyager Fail . This Corsair 32GB 3.0 USB Flash Voyager drive failed after 2 weeks. Although I was once a fan of Corsair's products (I had a 16GB drive that worked flawlessly for years), this recent purchase from them will be my last. I replaced my beloved 16GB drive with a Corsair mini, the first was DOA, the second failed after a year. I don't know what has happened to quality control at this company, but I'll look elsewhere for a reliable drive.
Do not buy . Bought to work off of my new (Windows 7) msi laptop equipped with both usb 2.0 and usb 3.0. Computer wouldn't recognize it for at least 5 attempts in each usb port. Then once it did, it said the flash drive needed to be formatted but then would not let me format. After several reboots of the computer system through all this, it eventually seemed to be found and looked fine. But when I tried to copy to it, it simply "calculated space" until I pulled it out 20 minutes later. (I have a top level gaming laptop with an i7 processor). Rebooted everything for one last try and again it wasn't found with any of the usb ports. Waste of 2 hours.
On the Corsair forum, these same problems are listed all over the place. I should have been more diligent in my research - Buy it if you want but your likely going to end up returning it!
