Toshiba USB 3.0 portable hard drive . This Toshiba replaced a Western Digital drive which simply wouldn't power up when connected to many of my USB ports. The seller suggested Toshiba because it had lower power requirements. I have been highly satisfied with the Toshiba USB 3.0 drive. It consistently powers up on any USB port, and is fully USB 2.0 compatible. The fact that it also has a smaller footprint, runs cool, has fast data-transfer rates, at a very reasonable price, is a real plus. It has provided exemplary service over several months of hard use. Highly recommended.
