Iomega 500G USB HD . Hi. OK, this little piece of gear will rock your world. It needs no power supply, just what is available from your USB source - plug it in and it is off and running. It's very user friendly and when I say this, I mean you can unplug it at will and nothing 'bad' happens! For example, I was downloading some music files to another HD with this via USB, of course, and realized my go to HD didn't have enough room!! So when it reached a point where what the new HD was close to being full, I just unplugged the Iomega from the USB plug in point. I run WinXPSP3 and my load software was 'Mirror Folder', a program that, once you establish what is going where, there is no stopping it - it had to continue until either it completed the task or run out of HD area.
So overall, this little guy is a solid product that survives in my environment, a tough place to be sometimes. :)

UGG!! . Not a fan of this product. I could NOT get this product to download my hard drive. Isn't THAT what it is suppose to do?? OY!
