As advertized works great . I bought expecting to Back up my PC every other day.
I usually dont upload or download much on my PC, so when running the scheduled back ups, runs fast and easy.
Worked well with my MAC and PC simultaniously.
Connected to the wireless network efortlessly.

Awesome product! . Backup doesn't get better or easier than this. I just installed this unit 4/16/11 and the entire setup took less than 5 minutes total. I have an old laptop with 40g HD. ClickFree backed up the entire HD in about 1.5 hrs total. I disconnected it from the PC and plugged it into the AC power. It configured the wireless connection without any problem. This is truly effortless backup.

Cons Review
Thought it was great . . . until I went on the road. . I set up Wireless Clickfree for three laptops at home and it went to work on backups no trouble -- and now backs them up daily. But then . . . I hit the road for a trip without the clickfree device and found a killer flaw. If you are not in range of the device, their little program that loads automatically -- SACReminder.exe -- will bog down your system something awful. It apparently looks for the Clickfree wireless device every few minutes, but if its not there, it chews up 95-99% of your cpu cycles looking for it. This useless interruption leads to your computer grinding to a halt every 5 minutes or so for 20-30 sec -- so that whatever you are doing in Word or Excel or Chrome or whatever is annoyingly interrupted. A call to technical support led to the advice that I should use msconfig to disable SACReminder when I am on the road -- despite my protest that this task takes several dozen clicks, and so is not "click-free." Should be easy for Clickfree to fix this problem and update the software, but so far I haven't seen it, so it is 2-stars from me for an otherwise cool product.
Clickfree Wireless 1TB Drive . Bought this unit last week.
Once connected to my PC via USB, this unit did the backup automatically and effortlessly which was very impressive. The unit itself is attractive to look at and would sit nicely with my other furniture.
However problems started happening when the wireless function was tried. I connected it to the power supply as per instructions and the yellow light on the unit never went blue, which means no wireless connection was made with my router. After the initial hardwired backup with my PC, the Clickfree software has said that it had detected and configured my wireless network but it didnt work. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone with Clickfree Tech Support and they were very patient but could not work out why it was not connecting with my Netgear router. I have other devices such as iphone, Ipad etc that connect with my router straight away with no problems. Tech support suggested I take it back to the store where I purchased it and exchange it for another unit. I did this and still had the same problem. Very disappointing

C3 Wireless Unit does not function! . I purchased this product through Amazon Marketplace - Beach Audio. While the setup and initial hardwired backup worked smoothly, it never would backup wirelessly as advertised. I attempted to use this on two different laptops with a Verizon DSL wireless router. One laptop had the XP operating System the other ran Windows 7. Neither machine would ever complete a wireless backup and Clickfree massaged the software and sent me two replacements of the unit, each time with software modifications - all to no avail. I spent over two months working with Clickfree Technical Support and they never were able to correct it or make it function. Finally, I went back to Beach Audio and asked for a full refund when Clickfree would not assure me that they would refund my money. Beach Audio acted very honorably and refunded my entire purchase price.
I would be very cautious about buying this unit. I never did get it to work.

Thought it was awesome. until... . I purchased this backup hoping that it would be a great way to backup our 4 computers and network the information. Well, the backup is ok, wirelessly it's a bit slow. But each time you want to get any information off the drive, the clickfree software goes though and checks all the information on the hard drive. Since we already have about 800GB's on the drive, it takes a good 15 mins and is quickly becoming a hassle!! It's really disappointing because I really wanted it to be great :( I would suggest anyone who is interested in this product to research and find another! I wish I did.
