ReadyNAS Ultra 2 - Great product . I didn't know what to expect when I bought the Ultra 2 being as though it was my first NAS device. If I had to do it all over again, I'd be interested in seeing what the extra processing power does for the unit. GREAT BUY................

Netgear ReadyNas Ultra 2 . Highly recommended Network drive with countless web interface features. Extremely fast backup transfers from drive to USB drive or vice-a-versa.

great . The Unit works fine but I am having a lot of trouble connecting my windows 7 computer to it. It seems to work on my other computers with windows XP.

Cons Review
Worst customer service from Netgear . I received this product and set it up as per instructions. After one week of trying to configuring it to make it work for remote access on http, I called the customer service and they were extremely frustrating to deal with and said it cannot be done. I am novice but skilled enough to know that its doable. Finally I figured it out myself through trial and error and made it work after wasting few hours on phone with a hopeless customer service who couldn't help me with the problem. The second week I lost remote connection again and decide to restart the entire setup, the router, the modem and the Readynas Ultra and that was the end of it. The readynas would not come back up, the blue light keeps blinking and it will not be recognized on the network or by the Raidar utility and after searching on their forum for help and with no luck there, I decided to call the customer service again and they kept putting me on hold and forwarding me to a different person.After being redirected to a third person, having repeated the whole story twice already, this guy said he couldn't hear me clearly and hung up. All this went on for two hours with no result. I am getting ready to return the product.
