Mac Secure . In the never ending quest for security of personal data Verbatim has given us a very secure way to take our sensitive data with us and not have to worry about it being stolen or accessed by unwanted eyes. The password protection is great and even greater when you have the ability to set a password that will hopefully spoil the attempts of others to gain access to that data.
I highly recommend this item.

Cons Review
Stay away from this if you are in Snow Leopard! . Verbatim deserves a black eye for wasting Amazon's patience and this end user's time.
I bought this flash drive specifically for my Mac, loaded with Snow Leopard. The Store N Go drive is advertised on Amazon (from Verbatim's sell-sheet) as "working with Mac OS X."
What they don't tell you is.. it doesn't work with Snow Leopard.
I bought the flash drive , Amazon shipped, UPS delivered, and I spent a half-hour trying to install the V-Safe drive into my desktop iMac, and also into my laptop, both running OS 10.6, Snow Leopard. Ugh-ugh, wouldn't work.
I called Verbatim's support team in Banglaore, India, spoke to a fellow named Yogi, who was nice enough, and, at least honest; he said the drive is not compatible with Snow Leopard.
Two issues arise from this:
1. Why doesn't Verbatim say so in the material provided to Amazon; they've wasted a stock-picker's time at Amazon, gas for delivery via UPS, and a half-hour of this end-user's time trying to install the not-compatible drive. And none of this would have had to happen if the Verbatim sell-sheet said "Made for Mac but NOT compatible with Snow Leopard."
2. Snow Leopard has been on the market for more than six months. How long does it take Verbatim to update their drivers to give us a downloadable upgrade to make this flimsy flash drive work with Snow Leopard?
Shame on Verbatim. And shame on anyone with Snow Leopard who falls for this drive, with which it is incompatible.
If the rating system permitted users to give NO stars, instead of a minimum of 1, this would have been my rating -- flat out, dead net, ZERO. If you sell merchandise that doesn't work as advertised, THAT deserves a big round ZERO.

Very Disappointed in Verbatim USB Drive for Mac . The drivers don't work on my Mac Pro , I installed,read instructions and tried to open in utilities ( as stated in instructions), to get access to create password for security, I received a message on screen that I couldn't add because I don't have permission.I went to Verbatim site and could not find drivers for the store 'n' go for Mac, I would like to feel that I am very good at this type of setup, but Verbatim left me feeling that I wish I had never ordered this product.
