good price but slow . This is a good price, and Win 7 says it can use it for readyboost but it must just barely be. Moving data on and off is a lot slower than my Lexar JD lightning II. It's worth looking at the speed on flash drives because they're big enough that a slow transfer can take a long time.

SanDisk? . This product is listed when you limit a search to "Brand SanDisk", and under the product title it says "Other products by SanDisk", but when I received the product there was no mention of SanDisk at all. The packaging says EasyStore Memory Limited in Dublin Ireland. However, physically this product seems to be exactly identical to the SanDisk Cruzer Micro SanDisk 1GB Cruzer Micro USB Flash Drive (SDCZ4-1024-A10/A11, Retail Package) except it doesn't include anything but the flash drive itself (no rubber cases or caps, no lanyard). And of course it doesn't say SanDisk. The light-up end looks the same, and the "made in china" printing on the edge looks the same (except the part numbers are different, the SanDisk I have being 1GB and this 8GB). Same sticker for labeling, again without the words "cruzer micro 1.0GB".

Cons Review
No warranty in the U.S. . I was about to buy one of these because it felt solid and perfect for a keychain, but the 2-year warranty isn't valid is the U.S. The packaging states that the warranty is only valid in Europe and Canada.
