Solid device with advanced features . The StorCenter px6-300d NAS is a solid device that promises a whole lot of features. This device perfectly suited my distributed office needs. The data protection facility is advanced in the px6 as it comes with multiple RAID levels and hot swap drives that allowed me to remove a drive without having to disturb the system. The device comes with UPS support which means incase of power failure the system can be shutdown unattended using the USB port and there is absolutely no data loss. The print sharing facility is amazing in the px6 as it can support upto 3 USB printers. The StorCenter px6 has the provision to connect to 3 printers. Now I know why this device is called an advanced machine.

I was using ix4 NAS machine earlier to store my small office content but with business demands rising I decided to switch over to the Iomega StorCenter px6 6TB Ns. It is a really cool device that is fast, intelligent and easy to operate. Setting up iSCSI is very easy on this device. I bought a pre-populated drive that accommodates 6 SATA disks. I was able to backup all the data using Iomega Cloud without using the services of any third party service provider irrespective of the location. This is an outstanding achievement from Iomega where I am rest assured my data remains safe. Gigabyte Ethernet connectivity means bigger bandwidth. Replicating data from my old ix4 was done within no time. Iomega has done a great job designing this amazing product which has come as a blessing for my small office needs.
