its a drive . The drive works as it is designed. One reviewer was upset that files larger than 4gb are "too big" but that is because of the file system and has nothing to do with the drive.
Fat32 works well on these devices because it is platform independent, mac and windows can both read and write with it but sadly it has file size restrictions
If you need to transfer files over 4gb in size then you should reformat the device to either NTFS(windows) or GUID(intel Mac)
Or grow a brain and create a .zip or .rar archive that is divided in to pieces smaller than 4gb in size.

Enough storage for most uses . Unlike the negative reviewer, I have many small files and directories that I need to back up and/or transfer. It is a convenient way to back up a system when you have manuscripts, correspondence, photos, etc. Like any other product, you need to shop around if you are looking for the best price. It operates like it is supposed to operate, and is more than sufficient for my needs. You can get cheaper flash drives with less space, but you might run out of capacity in the modern computer world. For a higher price, you can get flash drives with more capacity if you really think that you need it. Check your system and your intended use before you buy.

Good flash drive - beware of the seller's price . I have 2 of these 16GB flash drives and they work fine so far. The only thing missing is security software which was apparently promised by Toshiba 3 years ago as a download but has so far failed to materialize. The Toshiba website says the security software for this product is "still in development."
The current $99 price posted by the seller (not Amazon.com) is nuts. They can be bought elsewhere for about a third of that price if you know where to look.
