SanDisk products have been great thus far this is no exception! . Ive used the SanDisk cruzer micro (sliding usb stick) in the past and I went to other products to get a USB drive that was smaller in size for my key ring.
Ive had terrible luck with other companies! I bought a 'PNY micro swivel attache' for its size (very small), but it only lasted 2 months. I RMA'ed it, received the replacement, and then that replacement lasted 2 months!
I considered buying other small USB sticks from other companies but their reviews showed the same failure rates.
When I saw that SanDisk came out with this small USB device, I immediately purchased it because of its size, its design and SaDisk's reputation with their other devices (which never failed on me like other brands.
I have to say I really like this product. It is about half the length of my car key and it is not too thick. The USB design is great because other brands are wobbly in the USB mount where this one has a regular USB tip that is nice and snug in the USB bay.
This drive supports readyboost for Windows and I have to say that my computer felt quicker when I had readyboost engaged with this USB drive.
I also believe the warranty is for 5 years (at least it is for the 4GB and up version for sure) WOW!
No u3 technology that I saw but I dont like u3 anyways.
The only thing I dont like about this is that the outer casing is plastic and feels a little less secure. I would have liked it to be reinforced or have some different type of material to protect it from falls.
I also wish that the key ring hole was a bit bigger so it would slide easier on my key ring.
But that really is it for me.
Some people might not like that it gets about 3.5 to 5 MB/s sustained transfer rate but it doesnt bother me.
In all, Ive only had this product for a day so if it fails or breaks for some reason, I will be back to edit my review. I bought this on 05-28-2010. If there is no addendum, assume that my drive is still functioning as it should!
UPDATE:
USB drive still works well but the plastic broke where it attaches to the key ring. No longer useful to put on my keychain. Did well for a while though. I ended up getting the LaCie USB Key to replace this. If Sandisc can make this more durable (metal or even protective metal plating for the keyring holder section), it would be great.

Good USB . The San disk 2 gb flash drive is a good for using it just daily not on any big projects
