With a capacity of 32 GB, this high-performance data memory offers enough space for your documents and presentations – effectively protected by data encryption technology. The data can only be accessed through recognition of your fingerprint or the password. In addition to these functions, the Presentation Master also has integrated Bluetooth remote operation for PC and notebook and a laser pointer. With this tool as well, it goes without saying that you will not have to do without the indispensable Swiss Army Knife functions, such as a blade, nail file with screwdriver end, scissors and key ring.

Small and powerful . PROS: Size (VERY small!), capacity, build quality, convenience, software functionality, securityCONS: One of the supplied batteries dead in the box, buttons for laser and bluetooth are poorly arrangedAlthough there are pictures of this knife all over the net, none depict its true relative size. It's only a couple of inches long; if I make a fist around it, it is completely hidden. As a multi-function knife, the blade is razor sharp, as are the scizzors. The file/screwdriver blade are useful as well. The laser pointer is a laser pointer, no surprises. The bluetooth pairs easily and in less than a minute I was controlling a PowerPoint presentation. These two functions require power. This is provided by two E389 1.55V watch batteries. Each is inserted into a little hidden drawer, one on each side of the knife which require a paperclip to open. One of the two supplied batteries was dead and bloated in the box; I had to purchase a new one for almost $6.00 at the local CVS drugstore. The laser activation button is on the exact flip side of the knife from the bluetooth buttons, and is almost impossible to press one without inadvertantly pressing one of the others. As for the USB drive functionality, the disk is formatted with exFAT. An upgrade to the 'Secure' software was available to add AES encryption. This requires registering on Victorinox's secure site and awaiting a verification code to arrive by email. This took a couple of hours. The software allows you to create a secure container on your hard drive and/or the knife itself, and the containers can be secured by password and/or fingerprint. Also available is dynamic synching of files and folders from/to the knife and the connected computer so any monitored files/folders are mirrored in both locations. The fingerprint reader works well, but be sure to remove the almost impossible to remove protective film from the reader or your prints won't register.Victorinox explained at their trade show that the drive's firmware can literally destroy the hardware if it senses attempts to gain access to the secure store via repeated attempts as would happen in a dictionary or brute force attack. This would render the drive permanently useless, and all contained data destroyed. I saw no mention of this functionality on their site nor in the documentation. For the capacity, the 32gb model works out to be $7.84 per gig based on a cost with shipping of $251. The per gig cost for the 16gb model is over $11. This is far more expensive per gig than other USB drives or SD cards, but the addition of the fingerprint reader and the laser and the bluetooth of course increases the overall price.
