Worth every penny!! . I've owned my Guardian flash drive for almost a year now and i LOVE having it!! Quality wise it's rugged and well built. Made out of some type of aluminum alloy and is completely sealed, meaning it has no seams. This is not your average run of the mill flimsy plastic flash drive. It's water and dustproof. It comes with an aluminum cap which fits securely. The drive itself is fully encrypted with 256-bit AES hardware encryption. The only way it can be used at all is by 1st entering a password before being able to read or write anything to it. I lost my mom a few years back and the process of trying to gather all of her info was the most hectic thing i may have ever done. I swore i wouldn't put whatever loved ones i leave behind through that mess,hence i needed a secure flash drive. Read and write speeds are excellent! My favorite thing about this is that it will completely erase itself after 8 failed password attempts. Which is cool because my whole life is basically on this thing. An identity theft nightmare, but i feel completely safe. If ever lost or stolen I may lose some important info but it's easy enough to gather it all up again. The important thing is that the finder or thief DOESN'T have access to it.
**Important note-There is no password reminder or backdoor to access your info so you MUST remember your password!!**
I still use other flash drives for everyday regular use, but for my most sensitive and valuable information a Guardian flashdrive will always be a part of my life somewhere. So for any of you with important info like wills, financial records, life insurance policies, etc. and need a secure location for it all, this is definitely a MUST HAVE!!
