Good portable storage solution . This is a great little portable hard drive. it is versatile, and durable. I have it mounted on the back of my laptop that I carry to school everyday and it performs well. has not failed me once.
I bought this unit to store my extra information that I wasn't using very often like my videos, pictures and music. It works well for a storage drive with average USB seek and write times. There are no fancy frills or whistles, just a good hard drive in a clean looking case. The hard drives vary on a case by case basis, but I have not have any problems from my unit over the four or so months I have been using it. Comes with a very nice sized USB cable, some might say too big, but it certainly does not say cheap. USB 2.0 interface is plug and play and is hot swappable, another plus. Can be mounted in interesting positions, just be sure to use strong tape to do so.
Overall its a great value for a decent sized (GBs) portable hard drive. I would recommend this to someone looking for an every day use portable hard drive.
