Great little gadget . I love this USB stick. Sturdy metal casing, ideal to keep on a key ring without the chance of ever losing it. First thing you need to do though if you buy this USB stick is format it. Get rid of any software that's on it because it sucks. If you really want security, use TrueCrypt on this stick.

Satisfactory . The usb device i bought,was a very good choice.I cam eon time,affordable,and i works great,it's slightly smaller and easy t lose but hey,if you're a careless person then it no one's fault but your own all in all i am contented. Thanks Amazon.

Cons Review
Bought as a replacement for Cruzer Titanium... Big Mistake . I have had many, many USB drives and probably my favorite is a Cruzer Titanium. However, I need security for my files and the Titanium's U3 software does not work on my Win7 desktop or laptop (but is great on XP). Since Sandisk phased out U3, I thought I'd pick one of these up to try the new Sandisk Secure Access software and protection.
What I found is the software is slow to start up which is annoying. Then, actually putting files into the security "vault" is way too slow to be usable. I just put one 300 meg backup file in it and it took over 15 minutes. Granted that is a big file, but just adding a group of spreadsheets will evoke memories of copying files to floppy disks... So this drive is totally inappropriate for use as a secure backup drive unless you either have very few, small files, or you happen to have lots of time and patience. I don't.
As for other features, it is a very, very small plastic-y drive and sometimes it slips and doesn't insert all the way. Strike two, cheezy design. The small size is nice though.
Bottom line - if you want security, I'd look elsewhere. If you want a very small, light plastic drive and will not be protecting your files, it is an ok choice - just be really careful with it.

Awful software . I have used Sandisk USB drive since day 1 and found them to be satisfactory until now. The latest software "Secure Access" needs a serious overhaul. Yuu Waa is OO Noo. Worst interface ever. I can't use it to sync files, so it has to go through a laborious encrypt process. U3 works with Powerdesk Pro to sync files, this waste of programming is to be deleted. I will go elsewhere to secure files. This is useless!
Eeyore of USB Drive . If you looking for lighting fast speed, able to handle all your files on the go, and has a slick style... look elsewhere.Disappointment from the beginning, you can see my benchmark pictures the drive left much to be desired. Even my old 512MB drive runs laps around this drive.
dissapointment . I am very dissapointed with this flash drive. It was the cheapest one i could find, and I didn't think you could really go wrong, i mean a flash drive is a flash drive right? well sandisk really wasn't thinking when they made this device. I have owned several other cruzer drives in the past and never had a problem, but this thing is just not in the same league. it took over 2 hours for me to sync my music library, a whopping 9 GB, to the drive. and when i thought it had finished, i later realized that only about 2/3 of my library had succesfully written to the drive. I never figured out what the problem was. I tried clearing it and syncing again and had the same problem, it was as if the drive didn't want to hold all the files, even though it obviously had enough space.
anyway, I would go with any other sandisk product again, but not this cheap P.O.S. I mean the USB plug just speaks to its character, its made of plastic with a circuit board attached to it, instead of the quality metal plugs that are used on every USB device I have ever encountered.
