Officially licensed Mini Cooper Mk1 car USB Flash Drive in RED bodywork with Union Jack roof and bonnet stripes. It is for use with a desktop computer or laptop running Windows 7, 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP or VISTA and a Mac with OS/X 10 or later. The drive is a 1:48 scale die-cast metal model car accurate to the smallest detail including transparent windows, rotatable wheels, and illuminating headlights. The USB connector is cleverly concealed inside the boot of the car - on the base is a handle which will automatically open the car boot and slide out the USB connector. The USB drive holds 8 gigabytes of data and features front headlights which light up when the memory stick is connected to the computer. It plugs directly into any USB port of your computer which will recognize the new drive instantly for use without the need for any device drivers.

Great for Mini Fans . I bought this USB drive as a gift for my wife and she loved it. (She is a big Mini fan, having owned two of the real cars herself.)
The flash drive quality seems good. It has not been used a great deal but has worked perfectly so far. It's mostly been used with Macs but also with a USB reader at Kinkos, which worked without any problems.
The Mini model is great. It has clear windows and rotating wheels. The tires are even separate rubber pieces! The headlights light up when the drive is plugged in and they flash to indicate drive activity, which looks very cool. The USB connector retracts into the boot (trunk) of the car and is invisible when not in use.
Two other noteworthy items that came with the drive are: 1) a short connector cable for connecting the drive to less accessible USB ports (such as laptop ports that might be too low to accommodate the height of the model Mini), and 2) a nice little carry case/bag that helps protect the Mini.
If you are just looking for cheap everyday flash storage, this product is clearly not your best option. But if you want something more interesting and unique, and if you're a Mini fan, this is a fun and very functional USB drive.
