great deal if it was still $35 bucks. . This hard drive reads as a actual Microsoft hard drive when you install it. i have been using it for a couple weeks, and have not had a single problem downloading a game/add on or installing a game from disc. all the proper folders are pre-installed. i got this when it was only $35 bucks, that is a steal of a deal. but at the $75 jacobparts is charging now, i might think twice. especially since i found an authentic 320gb from someone on Craigslist for $80. (he bought the 320 gears of war xbox but didnt want to transfer his account/saves/games form the 250 to the 320, (cause you have to buy an additional cable to do that).

Great deal before the price increase . Purchased this on Oct 21. Took about a week to arrive, and when I came back to leave feedback, the price had essentially doubled. It was a great deal at the time! Popped it in, the system recognized it, and in less than a minute the system was ready to go. It had 228 GB left after the necessary files and formatting that the system does. If the price remained the same, I would highly recommend this, but after this price increase, if I was buying now, I would just spend a few $$ more and get the name brand hard drive. It's no longer a good deal at the new price. If the price had stayed reasonable it would have gotten 5 stars.

Great Deal. Cheaper than making your own. . This was a great deal for me. It would of cost me more to build my own, besides the extra time and worry to get a computer to partition it in DOS. I inserted the drive in the Xbox 360 and the Xbox thought it was a Microsoft drive. The drive has the 3 partitions on it and works great. I just restored partition 2 files so I could play Xbox 1 original games(a few minutes of work done in windows on a desktop). If you are not going to play Xbox 1 games then no need to restore partition 2 with Xplorer 360 Extreme 2 and a partition 2 backup file.
does what it's supposed to for a cheap price . I got this HDD for $35+$7 shipping a little more than a month ago. Battlefield 3 was coming out and I wanted to install both the HD textures and the disc itself. It seems all the prices of these non-official HDD's at least doubled in the past month and I think its because of Rage and BF3 which require installs to work optimally. The only problem I have is when if you don't go to Xbox guide for a certain amount of time and then you finally click it, it takes a while to load everything. I even had the problem of the guide locking up and not loading so I had to restart my Xbox 360 but that only happened one time.
Works Great . Works great! Faster than my other hard drive. Really cheap compared to official Microsoft brand. So why buy official when this works just as good.
Xbox 360 250 HDD . Works really well has enough space, the only problem I have noticed is that it wont play san sndreas. All in all it's a very good product. I would get another rather than pay microsoft's over prced HDD.
Works as expected!!! . Installed into my new Slim Xbox 360, started up and saw 227GB Free Space...Loaded two games onto the drive and works like a charm! No issues and would recommend to anyone looking for a lager drive for their new Xbox 360.
