Kanguru and Amazon service . The first unit I received had a flaw in the power connector and even the slightest vibration in the desk would cause a transfer to fail or the unit to reset. Amazon made it easy to return and shipped a new one immediately, and the second unit has worked flawlessly. I still think that the power connector is fragile, but this is not an issue in my protected desktop environment, and the speed of the unit is very good hooked up USB2.0. When I get an SATA-capable unit, it is ready to go with that interface as well - I tested it with another computer and there were no issues. Good product, I would buy another because it was backed with proper service and warranty and I like the performance. I also have a Kanguru external DVD-RW called a Quicksilver, and it worked so well I decided to stick with the brand.

Still going great . I attached this to my DVR for more storage. The DVR was able to format and use it with no problems.
