Does everything I want from a portable drive . 1) Portable - it's small, light, and needs one cable (powered via the USB cable).2) Reliable - never experienced any failure with it, though I carry it with me a lot.3) Good volume - bought the 320GB, which is plenty for what I need to take with me.4) Reasonable performance - as a portable drive, it performs well.5) Good price - the list price is fine, and the sale price I got it on even more so.That's what I want from a portable drive, and that's what I got from the G2.I haven't used the software, so I have nothing to say about it.

However, soon after installing it I learned that the drive has only about 298GB usable capacity. Even thought the package say: "accessible capacity may vary depending on operating environment, I still can't believe, that the drive's capacity is really 320GB. It should be advertised as 300GB max.

Cons Review
Nice Quality Product Failed A Week Later . Product looks nice but hard drive is not equipped to cool down when needed. Fan kicked on periodically then har drive completely died.
