PQI has a new generation of UFD in the form of Intelligent Drive i810 PLUS. Its design concept derived from fashionable dongle accessories combining technology and art into one. Intelligent Drive i810 uses PQI's own patented Intelligent Stick Interface that is fully compatible with USB 1.1/2.0. The interface allow i810 to be designed as the size of a flash card, requires not card reader and can be implemented for a variety of ultra thin and delicately designed products. Small works well ReadyBoost. . First I wanted to point out that I have tested the device under Vista, and it DOES support ReadyBoost, which helps speed up a Vista computer.
As far as read and write performance go, it's pretty much middle of the pack.
It's very small, and much more plasticy-feeling than the product picture indicates. There is what looks like a metal wrap when looking at the device from the front, but on closer inspection it seems to be plastic. The pqi logo is molded in, not printed on. So if you had hopes of removing that (as I did) - forget it. The device does seem durable enough to handle a fair amount of physical use.
I will try to post my own pics of front and back to show how it works and looks, physically.
All in all a decent little device. I purchased mine with the specific intent of wearing it as a pendant so I'd always have certain data and utilities handy. In this respect it works very well, because it comes with a little jewelry clasp making it easy to remove from the necklace or cord you hang it from.
I'm glad I bought it. The price is pretty good compared to other devices of the same capacity - almost all of which are physically larger.
UPDATE after several months: I accidentally went diving in salt water with this still around my neck. I thought it would be ruined ... but it worked fine after a good drying-out! The metal-look bit does come off after all; it is held on by clasping around the plastic bit, *and* a piece of double-sided tape. I'm just as happy without it. The rest of the housing is clear plastic.

There Is None Smaller . Seems more like a miniSD card inside a molded adapter that fits inside a USB socket. Doesn't have the usual metal male USB part. The way it fits always seems a little precarious, but it does work.

Very sleek small functional thumb drive - greatest form factor ever . This is a great thumb drive that has the best form factor ever, super small, comes with little chain to put on key ring or even cell phone. Great storage capacity.

Don . This is great product. I use this product as a Health Alert. I put my health history, list of perscription drugs, Living will, and vitial alert concerns in it. I ware it around my neck in case I'm in an accident, and can't respond, the EMC can plug it into there computer and find everything they need to know about my health. I never take it off. I shower, and work-out, with it on and have no problems.

Washer and Dryerproof . I keep mine in my wallet after pulling the outer case off. It made it from my wallet to my pocket to the washer to the dryer and still works. I wish the speeds for large blocks of small files were better than 4MB/sec. But, overall the size and durability are great.

Great....during the short time that it lasted . The technology is there. It is superfast, with a large storage capacity in a tiny package. Perhaps, the case is too small...the plastic cracked after the fifth use and it is extremely difficult now to insert into a USB port. It still works, it is just a hassle to use.
Very desapointed with product's durability . This product looked very promising, its size was perfect and so was its storage capacity. It took me 2 weeks to break the tips of the connecting end and another 2 weeks to break the lock that keeps the stick from sliding out of its protective shell.
I tend to be a very careful person, but I was amazed on how easily I broke this product. I suggest future buyers to only purchase this product if they intend on using it at the Office or home. Don't purchase this if you intend on keeping it as a keychain as I did.

died after few months . I had it on my key chain from the day one. First of all, becuase of having conductivity one side, it is always confusing when you are trying into USB. The working is inconsistent.
Now it died on me. It does not work either way.
I am looking to buy some sturdy water resistant and weather resistant flash drive.
