Stylish fast durable simple. . I use these at work because they're simple and don't require an external power supply. I use them for backing up computers with Ghost software. They've taken quite a beating in writing & reading hundreds of gigs and still keep working.
I prefer this over Buffalo brand because Buffalo requires two USB ports, and I haven't noticed a speed increase on the buffos as advertised, at least for the things I do with them.
Be warned though on this red one, the color is the top and all 4 sides, but the bottom is still black.

Does what it's supposed to do . I was actually able to install a different version of windows on this external hard drive, and then going through BIOS changed the boot order to putting a higher priority on the USB drives in order to use it to power windows. If I wanted to use an older version, all I had to do was plug this drive in and restart the computer. It's been pretty nice to have.
