Necksrap/Lanyard For Usb Flash Drive
This review is from : USB Flash Drive Neckstrap/Lanyard
USB Lanyard . Purchased this lanyard for my Sandisk USB flashdrive. The strap is an all black braided "rope" design with an attached, quick disconnect portion for the USB drive. This plastic clip acts as a safety device that will allow the USB to physically disengage if it becomes entangled.
At $8 plus shipping, I find it to be a bit expensive for it's function, but I am unable to find it in my local computer store. I purchased two lanyard and expect that they will last a long time. This item did not receive five stars because it is pricy for it's function, but well made.
***** I finally found these Lanyard for $2.00 in August, at a local Ipod accessories store.****

USB Flash Drive Neckstrap/Lanyard Reviews
It's a good lanyard. . I ordered my first one of these in December, 2007, and have used it almost everyday with my 16GB flash drive for coming up on three years now. The reason I'm rating it now is that I came back to order another one, for the 32GB flash drive I just bought from Amazon. Some of the reviews here seem too low to me, so I thought I'd post my opinion. I like my lanyard. It's substantial enough and strong enough to make me feel confident when I loop it around the handle on by book bag, and stuff it in the side pocket, that it's not going to break or come loose. Also, it's long enough to fit comfortably around my neck, if I want to be sure I don't misplace the flash drive between tasks or work stations. This product has worked well for me. And, let me add, it attached easily and securely to my flash drive.

USB Flash Drive Neckstrap/Lanyard Opinions
Perfect . This is a flat, smooth, finely-braided type, like you'd see on a good camera strap; similar to a shoelace, but higher-quality, flatter, denser, more shimmering; subdued metallic blue/gray, with detachable end loop. It's attractive (blends in nicely with whatever I'm wearing), unassuming, and very functional. Mine came with the SanDisk logo printed along it, but that doesn't stand out. Good quality strap.
I ordered this and the Krusell Multidapt, also from Amazon, cause I had no idea what to get and they're both pretty cheap anyway.
The Krussell strap has an identical detachable end loop. It's a sportier strap, thick and rounded foamy material that's kind of neoprene-esque, like the sports straps for sunglasses. On paper it sounds better than this strap, but an office environment this one is my choice, as it's more sleek and subtle, and the material falls more gracefully -- a more "designer" strap, if you will. The Krusell is thicker but less dense, and ends up being "floppy", at least when you've only got something fairly light attached (bluetooth headset in my case, would be the same problem with thumb drives, ID badges, etc), and doesn't fall smoothly like this strap does. When I need a strap for something more active that involves sweat and other moisture, like hiking/rafting, or perhaps if I were hanging something heavier, I'd probably use the Krusell instead.
I got this to hang my bluetooth headset from at work, and it's perfect for that purpose. As an IT guy it helps to keep my hands free while talking on my cell, but keeping the bluetooth activated means it needs to be either in my ear constantly or close by, or else I can't use my phone at all. Pre-strap I was always picking up my phone and not hearing anything, realizing the bluetooth was on, and going to look for it. With it hanging from this strap, I'm not constantly pawing around for it, forgetting it in another room, or fishing it out of a pocket, and I don't have to keep it in my ear when not in use. People comment on what a great idea this is when they see it, and ask me where I got this strap, as it honestly has a cool sleek professional look to it.
Not much more to say. It's a nice neck strap, so if you need a neck strap for a similar purpose, get this one. If you need something for hiking etc. I'd go with the Krusell. If you need both, well, they're cheap, so go nuts.

USB Lanyard . This lanyard was just the type I needed. I had been looking for some time for one like it. It was a little difficult threading through the small opening on the USB, but I got it and it works fine. Now, I can carry with me at all times with no worry of losing my flash drive. It's just the right length too.
Safest and best way to keep your flash drive with you. . Flash drives can be placed in your pocket loosely and allowed to mingle with your change, lip balm, car keys or who knows what else. However being in there loose you could lose that flash drive in some couch cushins just like your change.
You could attach it to your key chain but you could inadverently lose the top, if it has one, and risk having the rim of your USB damaged.
Using this lanyard has proven, for me along with friends and coworkers, to be the best way to keep up with your USB flash drive. It avoids lint in your pocket. Allows the cap to say on and while brushing against you your always aware you have it.

USB Flash Drive Lanyard . I like the USB Flash Drive Lnayard because when I'm working with my flash drive, I like to have the lanyard on over my head, which helps me to remember to remove the flash drive from the computer tower before I shut down for the night. Also, when I need to carry the flash drive with me, I put it on over my head and I always know where it is.
Lanyard is very solid. . This is a very well made product. You can see that it is built to withstand a lot of usage. The roping is thick and it is connected to a strong piece of steel.
Hard to find . I shopped around town not finding the lanyard. They are a bit tricky to install through the memory stick orifice. Pass a fine thread first, loop the thread through the lanyard loop and lock the lanyard onto the stick. Done, works well.
Cons Review
I received a poor quality black and white checkered lanyard as well. . The product does not even come close to matching the picture. Buy this at your own risk. Instead of a "pinch off" strap it is a "screw off" strap. The quality resembles that of playground necklaces from middle school. Very disappointed, not worth six dollars if this is what they're selling now.
