Solid like all Kingston Thumb Drives . I have bought quite a few brands of thumb drive over the years but have returned almost as many. Kingston has always been a keeper and every one of them are still working to this day with no problems. This round I bought both the 32gig and 16gig versions and both are fine products. They are probably not the fastest thumb drives on the market but they are plenty fast and if they are like previous generations they will last for a long time-- which is much more important to me in the long run.
The only complaint I have ever had with these Data Traveler models is the caps are not attached in any way and so are easy to lose. Other that that minor issue, these are keepers-- at least in this persons opinion.
