It works great at least sofar and it does come with a 3 year warranty. . It was as mentioned, just plug in and start saving files. I do not have USB 3 yet so could not take advantage of the higher speed. I do like that it has an off switch and that it comes witha 3 year warranty. I have learned that it is very important to back up all my photos and videos and the 2 TB will allow me to do that.

Broken USB Cable . The product arrived promptly. However, it would not register on my computer. I tried to call support ... I was so mad when they wanted something like $25 bucks for help. I settled for instant chat ... we determined that the new USB.3 cable was broken. They sent another cable for free and that solved the problem. It is working well now. It concerns me that there was a problem so soon and that they charge for help right out of the box.

Been waiting for . 1 terabyte on usb 3.0 is what I had been waiting for. This is the true Gen Z hard drive which I hooked onto my pc and faced no trouble in moving the files, sharing them on network n plug - play. Warms soon.

Iomega 1 TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive . I bought this external hard drive to use as a full system disk image back up. The USB works fine - nearly equivalent to E-SATA. It was easy to set up and worked fine right out of the box. I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but I have had good luck with Iomega in the past.
External hard drive . This drive works as promised till now. A very simple to setup 1TB external hard drive. USB 3.0 works really fast and the transfer rate is quite commendable. USB 3.0 seems getting close to eSATA with respect to transfer speed. This drive is a very good huge storage capacity drive from Iomega. I would recommend it to others.
It worked on my Norton too . Even on Norton Ghost this drive didn't have any trouble. My Norton always had problems with some of my earlier hard drives. But this went off well with the settings and configuration.
USB 3.0 desktop hard drive . I witnessed the promised transfer rates while transferring nearly 10 gigabt of some files which I had stored in different locations. Astounding speed. I had a PCI adapter card already and the fix up of the drive happened within a minute. A large bank of data on great-speed interface is what I had been searching for. That's the reason I purchased it.
USB 3.0 HD drive . Fast and easy to set up. I used it to back up files with Acronis True Image 2010. Came with a USB 3.0 cable. Connected to a P6X58D Premium ASUS motherboard.
Fast-paced tool at the best deal . Had my doubts when I read it was 10 times faster than USB 3.0. But it was absolutely true. I was happy when I saw that happen during file transfers. Long live usb 3 revolution and ego's great pricing.
No issues so far . I've been using my new Iomega 1TB external drive for nearly two months now and it's proven to be a great investment thus far. This should keep my file storage worries at bay for at least a few more years.
