See your own private part of the world that you would never otherwise see. . The Brinno garden cam was given to me as a gift. I have used it to watch my bird feeder during the day while I was at work. I had converted an iron bird bath into a feeder and I was so amazed to see how much wildlife took advantage of the feeder while I am away. Squirrels, crows, cardinals, chipmunks, I even got to watch a snail inch his way across the rim of the feeder. The brilliance of color and detail was vivid and amazing. I set it up on top of a kitchen cabinet pointed down to view as I prepared serving trays of food for a party and it was delightful to see the progress of the trays as they were being filled. I set it up on my front deck looking out over the mountains for 10 hours while I was at work. I caught a plane flying through the valley, I watched as storm clouds brewed above and then a torrential storm as it marched across the mountains toward the camera, and finally I watched the white clouds boiling in the valleys between the mountains as the water evaporated after the storm. These are things that cannot be seen in real time....only when you can observe as time is sped up are they revealed to the naked eye. I am in the construction material supply industry and everyone was so intriqued by the videos that we are contemplating providing a camera to each of our customers before they begin to build their homes so that when the house is complete, they can watch in time lapse photography the whole process all over again. This item is WELL worth the money and a unique gift that anybody can enjoy. It is simple to use and can be set up and then left for weeks at a time without any adjusting. My only regret is that it is light activated so I will never be able to catch the night time thief (probably a bear) who topples my bird feeder and steals the food during the night.
