Uninterrupted backup . We recently purchased the all new StorCenter px12-350r Network storage for our educational institute. This is the new leader in the market and is unique to Iomega. The device can be used for server virtualization, disk backups, video surveillance, production data stores, among others. The biggest plus of the px12-350r is that it supports Avamar deduplicating backup. Let me explain, Avamar allows uninterrupted backup and self recovery services which make it easier for end users like us to restore data effortlessly. It also means that there is no need for double backup of data which has drastically reduced our backup time. Using this not just my desktop and laptop data but even data from mobile, iPad can be protected.
